here are some more works in progress. the first is a toothpick piece. i gridded out and numbered each square of a photo from 1 to 5 depending on darkness. i then dyed toothpicks to match the shade. i am sticking them into a block of industrial foam to (hopefully) create a pointillism-esque picture of an old man of the sea.

this piece is a magnitude of garage sale stickers stacked ontop of one another with the stickers one after the other in the order of the color wheel. it getting pretty long but i have quite a few stickers left to add on.

a work in progress. these are skulls carved out of soap. i plan to make 25 of them in total. maybe more if i want to buy more soap.

a small watercolor painting on canvas. the watercolor on canvas thing doesnt work so well when you prime the canvas. the watercolor doesnt soak in so it just sits on the surface and dries. when i touch it, the oils on my fingers take off the paint.

not a very good quality picture. im not quite comfortable with photography yet. graphite and ink on toned reeves

charcoal on bristol board. its not my favorite. i probably should have spent more time on it.
charcoal and graphite on bristol
charcoal and graphite on bristol.

watercolor and graphite on drywall
made of wire and string. cows in a line. i plan to add a large grouping of arrows flying in from the top right-hand corner. wooden frame. about 2-1/2 foot square.
graphite, acrylic, & colored pencil on brown paper.  look closely. the tape, shadows, and drama are all fictitious.
a model in illusionism class. she had an extremely strange figure. large belly and chest but when she was fully clothed you couldnt tell at all. she looked a very normal weight.
